Welcome to Better Day Publishing, the children's book publishing company dedicated to children from all walks of life. Better Day not only produces and distributes imaginative and inspirational children's stories; we also provide a co-publishing service to authors wishing to cut down on self-publishing costs.
What Is Co-Publishing?
In a co-publishing agreement the publisher and the author share the expenses of producing and marketing the book. The net revenues are shared between the publisher and the author in the same percentage of their investment.
A co-publishing agreement is more appealing to some authors who have their own business in which they are doing seminars and workshops. The author wants their name outstandingly on the book. Nevertheless, the book is published under the publisher's imprint.
Inventory management and fulfillment is the publisher's responsibility.
In a co-publishing agreement, invested funds are returned to the author in proportion to the author's percentage of investment and is based on sales of the finished book.
If we determine the manuscript to have literary merit and publishing potential,we begin work with the author to develop a marketing plan.
Once we have developed a marketing plan we will project the costs for the production and marketing of the book. Then, we notify the author of the percentage involved in order to achieve a successful publication.
If the publishing agreement has been signed by both parties, production of the book will begin. The agreement will specifically outline the steps necessary for the publication of your book.
